Why this exists
We were customers first.
Years on the gray market — cycling through suppliers, getting burned, finding the few that actually delivered what they claimed. We built Ox Research Labs so other researchers can skip that exercise and get to the work.

The catalog is the compounds we source for our own research, from a few suppliers we trust. We don’t recommend that anyone take anything here. Everything is sold for laboratory research only.

Each batch is independently tested for mass, purity, sterility, endotoxins, and heavy metals. If your own test from one of three labs we accept shows purity below 98% or more than 10% under the labeled amount, we refund the product cost. Over the label isn’t refunded.

Why we’re cheaper, and where the COAs are.
A reputable lab charges a lot to test one vial. We don’t pay that alone. We split it with other researchers, and that is most of the price difference.

The low end covers mass and purity only. The high end adds sterility, endotoxins, heavy metals, and the rest of a full panel.
How a batch gets tested

A few trusted sources.
We buy from a small set of suppliers with some of the strongest reputations in the industry. The founders spent years on the gray market testing sources before settling on these.

We test as a group.
Other researchers buy the same batches from the same sources. We join groups of 50 to 150 of them, send in multiple vials together, and split the lab bill.

The full panel, not just purity.
Mass and purity by HPLC, plus sterility, endotoxins, and heavy metals. Testing is usually done through Janoshik Analytical.

Held to our spec, not theirs.
A batch has to test at 98% purity or higher, no more than 10% under the labeled amount, and come back clean on sterility, endotoxins, and heavy metals. If it doesn’t, we don’t sell it.
Why we don’t post COAs
A group report carries the supplier’s name, not ours. Our suppliers are hard to find, have more business than they need, and have asked us not to advertise them online. Posting the reports would do exactly that, so we don’t.
What changes later
As volume grows we plan to test batches on our own, under our name. The whole lab bill will fall on us instead of being split 100 ways, so prices will go up slightly when that happens. Until then, group testing keeps them where they are.
Test it yourself
You don’t have to take our word for it. If your own test from an accepted lab shows purity below 98%, or more than 10% under the labeled amount, we refund the product cost. A vial that tests over the label isn’t refunded. Refund policy →
Quality guarantee
Test the lot.
If it’s off, we refund.
Independent HPLC verification from any of three labs we accept. If your test shows the compound falls short of our purity or mass spec, you get the product cost refunded.
Purity threshold
≥ 98%
Measured by HPLC. Below this on your test = refund.
Underdose tolerance
−10%
Net peptide weight more than 10% below the label = refund. An overdose isn’t refunded — you got more than you paid for.
